| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | O trabalho de conclusão de curso é uma proposta mapeamento estrutural da região que faz parte da Serra Norte, eixo N4 na Província Mineral de Carajás, localizada no município de Parauapebas, ao sudeste do estado do Pará. O presente relatório corresponde ao mapeamento estrutural realizado no eixo N4, minas N4WN, N4ECC, N4EEN, N4WS. Na área de estudo foram mapeadas rochas pertencentes ao Grupo Grão-Pará, compreendendo as rochas ferríferas da Formação Carajás e as máficas da formação Parauapebas. Estudos realizados nesta pesquisa apontam para uma deformação simples do tipo sinistral e componente pura com encurtamento de NE para SW. A deformação dessas rochas se concentra em faixas com direção NW-SE coincidindo com traços maiores de descontinuidades que convergem de forma côncava a partir da Falha Carajás. Assume-se que a deformação dessas rochas ocorreu durante a reativação transpressiva sinistral que teve lugar no Sistema Transcorrente Carajás, entre cerca de 2.6 e 2.0 Ga. |
| Abstract: | The work of completing the course is a structural mapping of the region that is part of the Serra Norte, axis N4 in the Mineral Province of Carajás, located in the municipality of Parauapebas, southeast of the state of Pará. This report corresponds to the structural mapping carried out in the N4 shaft, N4WN, N4ECC, N4EEN, N4WS. In the study area, rocks belonging to the Grão-Pará Group, including the Carajás Formation rocks and the mafic formations of the Parauapebas formation. Studies carried out in this research point to a simple deformation of sinistral type and pure component with shortening from NE to SW. The deformation of these rocks is concentrated in bands with NW-SE direction coinciding with larger discontinuity traces that converge in a concave form from the Carajás Fault. It is assumed that the deformation of these rocks occurred during the sinistral transpressive reactivation that took place in the Carajás Transcurrent System, between about 2.6 and 2.0 Ga. |
